Escho Live was recorded in May 2003, and contains reworkings of Engine Machine material, some new tracks and a cover version of the Silver Apples’ "Oscillations".

Here’s how Marina Anthony of Organ Magazine described the bands performance at Notting Hill Arts Club in London:

The band were impressive from the first minute on, an intense evil groove buildt on one of those rhythm sections that prove the existence of telepathy…You’re thinking "this is good" when the nutter/frontman arrives and it gets better, and better… This guy is insane, but then the music is insane. Angular riffs and grooves that stop and start, play wirh weird structures, then bursts into pure energy...The knife tight bass and guitars are cutting out chunks of some song that veers from new-wave to hanging gobbets of atmosphere…This band is unique and they’re mesmerizing and they’ll have your mouth open in breathless admiration…The kind of band you come across every five years, and the kind of gig you remember forever.
